       Solomon Islands
Solomon Islands forms an archipelago in the Southwest Pacific about 1,900 kilometers (1,200 mi.) northeast of Australia. With terrain ranging from ruggedly mountainous islands to low-lying coral atolls, Solomon Islands stretches from Papua New Guinea across the Coral Sea to Vanuatu.

Shallow reefs that drop off to form vast walls of healthy hard corals, gigantic sea fans, barrel sponge and just about every kind of imaginable marine life can be found in the Solomons.

The people of Solomons are very friendly and many are skilled carvers. Everywhere you go you will be bombarded with ornate carvings of wood and even stone. The more you travel about the islands, the more variety you see which might cause you to buy them all!!
